My "What else do I not know" Moment

It has been a while and I have had a major case of writer's block. I have had so many things to write about but most of those topics touch close to my heart so I am trying to find the words that will adequately describe my experiences.

On a lighter note...
I experienced something the other day that left me really feeling like "what other simple things in life have I not figured out in life". I know at the end of this post you'll anyone who MIGHT be reading my blog will think I am a TOTAL idiot but it really is bothering me. So here goes... I was sitting on the bed the other day getting ready to go out to dinner and I went to open some new deodorant that I had purchased that morning. As I am sitting there, trying to pull out that stubborn piece of plastic cover with my teeth and making sure I don't rip my bums apart with the plastic, Mike ("The Boyfriend" for those of you who might not know him) continued to look at me with that "what the heck are you doing" look. So of course, I say to him "What??". He proceeded to ask me what I was doing. I told him that I was trying to pull the plastic cap of the deodorant but it was hurting my teeth and then proceeded to ask for his help. He took the deodorant and effortlessly twisted the bottom and off popped the plastic top. What the heck???? You mean all my life I have been biting these off which I assure you has resulted in minor injuries over the years only to find out that all I had to do was twist the bottom. Are you kidding me?? I felt feel so STUPID!!

Still Here!

When I started this blog, I told myself I would update on a weekly basis and NEVER get behind but here I am... BEHIND.
August was very busy. I am very excited to have closed August out with a great Thirty One catalog party hosted by my friend Von. Von and all her guests got to take advantage of the 15% off EVERYTHING sale and it turned out great.
September is even busier but having a blast running around like crazy!! I worked on some fundraising for my boyfriend's niece to help her with her Cheerleading dues which ended up being a HUGE bust!! a BIG thanks and CONGRATS to the boyfriend and his dad for winning their fishing tournament and passing along some funds to help with Brittney's cheerleading dues while our fundraising efforts continue. If anyone has any good amazing ideas for any fundraising for this and next year, suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! In the midst of our fundraising Tropical Storm Lee decided to grace us with his presence and brought gifts of no power and trees down everywhere and of course a nervous breakdown on my part with the threats of tornados (Coming soon... my account, thoughts and memories of April 27th Tornado- reason for my nervous breakdown). On the bright side, I did get a few hours out of work due to trees and power lines down. I also hosted a Pampered Chef party for Deanna Bess that was a blast. I got to see friends and family and the party turned out great. Getting lots of goodies if I can ever make up my mind what to choose and not spend a fortune. Also, thinking about a new business venture but still trying to decide. Headed to the beach next week and can't wait. I have not been on vacation since 2006 and I am so excited to spend time with family in Gulf Shores. Hope everyone is having a great week and Happy Wednesday!!!

It's the BIG things in Life!!!
